Denver Film Announces Ticket On-Sale With Expanded Lineup of Packs and Passes for 47th Denver Film Festival

DENVER – July 29, 2024 – Denver Film announced today the dates, locations, as well as the on-sale of an expanded lineup of ticket packs and passes, for the 47th Denver Film Festival, the largest film festival in the Rocky Mountain region. 

This year’s festival will include a limited number of ticket packs and Mile High passes, as well as the introduction of The Ellwood Pass named after Denver native, A. Ellwood Ervin, Jr. who has attended every Denver Film Festival since its inception in 1978. Ticket packs and passes go on sale at 10 a.m., July 29 at www.denverfilm.org. Tickets to individual screenings, Special Presentations, Gala Presentations (Special Presentation with reception and/or special guest), Ellie Red Carpet Presentations, panels and parties go on sale to Denver Film members Oct. 3 and to the general public Oct. 4. 

With Opening Night scheduled for Nov. 1, the Festival will run through Nov. 10 with a full lineup of in-person Red Carpet and Special presentations, feature-length film screenings, documentaries, shorts, and episodic content, as well as events, panels, parties and industry guests. Screenings, events and entertainment will be held at venues throughout the city, including the Sie FilmCenter, Ellie Caulkins Opera House, Denver Botanic Gardens, MCA at the Holiday Theater, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, and the AMC 9 + CO 10.

This year’s festival ticketing offers a limited number of Mile High passes that include Red Carpet film presentations and parties, two Special Presentations, six General Admission tickets, as well as access to panels and hospitality lounges. Attendees may also purchase The Ellwood pass, which includes: one ticket to each Ellie Red Carpet presentation, one ticket to each Special Presentation (non-concurrent), one ticket to ticket to each Gala Presentations (non-concurrent), unlimited General Admission (non-concurrent), access to panels, hospitality lounges, as well as Invitation to VIP parties, priority seating and concierge service. New this year, Denver Film Members may purchase the Red Carpet Pass, which includes: one ticket to four Gala presentations, invitation to VIP parties, and access to Hospitality Lounges.”Based on feedback and the response from our audiences at prior festivals, we’re excited to introduce an expanded lineup of ticket packages and passes for what we are already seeing as another incredible year of independent film creativity and performances,” said Denver Film CEO, Kevin Smith. “When it came to honoring Ellwood, it was an easy and unanimous decision by our staff to pay tribute to someone who truly is the living history of our Festival. The Ellwood gets you access to the Festival’s most sought after screenings, events, parties and more.
