The documentary also tells the history of the hip-hop club scene in Denver, starting in the 1980s.

A “period piece” about an era of Providence, Rhode Island when artists commandeered abandoned mills of the industrial revolution, turning them into havens for art, music, and its creators. It’s a parable about protecting community, celebrating art, and rejecting the insidious greed of gentrification.
