Currently, Denver Film requires all staff be vaccinated for COVID-19 and is also requiring everyone in its building(s) to wear masks. “Vaccinated” means fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as defined by the CDC (i.e., more than 14 calendar days following receipt of a final dose of an FDA or World Health Organization authorized or approved vaccine). Denver Film will engage in an interactive process to determine if a reasonable accommodation is available for those who cannot be vaccinated due to a disability or sincerely held religious belief.
About Denver Film:
The first Denver International Film Festival was successfully launched in May 1978. Three years later, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Denver Film Society was created to expand opportunities to bring films to Denver that otherwise might not be shown, and to celebrate and cultivate film as an art form. Over the years the organization has grown into one the largest and most respected cultural institutions in the Rocky Mountain region. In 2019, the organization rebranded to Denver Film in an effort to build a more inclusive organization.
